About the role

We are seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to join our sales team in Kuala Lumpur on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position designed to drive business growth by identifying and nurturing potential customer relationships, whilst building a strong pipeline of qualified leads. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be instrumental in establishing Eazihome Laundry's market presence and supporting our sales objectives. You will work collaboratively with senior sales and marketing teams to convert opportunities into lasting business relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales career whilst contributing to the success of a rapidly expanding company.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research prospective customers within the Kuala Lumpur market, developing targeted lists of potential clients aligned with company priorities
• Execute outbound sales activities including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media engagement to generate qualified leads
• Conduct initial qualification calls and meetings to understand customer needs and determine fit with Eazihome Laundry's services
• Build and maintain detailed records of customer interactions, preferences, and feedback within the customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Collaborate with the sales team to prepare compelling presentations and proposals that address customer requirements
• Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and senior sales representatives or account executives
• Track and report on key performance metrics including call volumes, lead generation rates, and conversion progress
• Participate in product training and industry research to maintain current knowledge of Eazihome Laundry's offerings and market trends
• Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market insights and customer objections to inform strategy refinement

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum; university degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience in a sales development, business development, or similar sales role, with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to prospect effectively using multiple channels including phone, email, and digital platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple leads and pipelines simultaneously
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated and results-driven approach with a commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Fluency in English; Malay or Mandarin language skills are advantageous
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment
• Knowledge of the laundry services or facility management industry is preferred but not essential
