This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading sales strategy, new business development, and key client relationships within the banking and financial services sector. Description

As a Sales Director, your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth through new business acquisition, account expansion, and cross-selling opportunities within the banking and financial services sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring the successful delivery of data, analytics, risk, and fraud solutions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, overseeing pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, and overall sales performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes and identify opportunities for market expansion and long-term growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to strengthen business performance and achieve revenue targets.

Profile

A successful Sales Director should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
• Proven sales leadership experience with a strong track record of driving revenue growth, winning new business, and expanding strategic client accounts within the banking and financial services sector.
• Deep understanding of data, analytics, risk, fraud, information services, or related solutions, with the ability to lead consultative sales engagements at senior executive level.
• Demonstrated success in building, coaching, and managing high-performing sales teams, with strong expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and strategic account planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
