Sales Engineer (Analytical & Measuring Instruments)

We are a Japanese MNC company located at Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang looking for the potential candidate for the above position: -

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving annual sales target in assigned territories, including but not limited to EDX, Surface analyzer, 3D X-ray, Chromatography, Spectroscopy, Mass Spectrometry, and other related instrumentation.
• To maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Proactively generate new sales leads and secure new customers.
• To conduct product presentations, product demonstrations, provide pre and after sales service to customers.
• To provide timely update to reporting manager on customers demand, competitors strategies, and market changes in assigned territories to develop effective business strategies and contribute to overall success of the organization.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Science related studies.
• 1 – 2 years of sales experience in E&E and semiconductor industries is an added advantage. Those without experience are encouraged to apply.
• Able to work physically in Bayan Lepas, Penang Branch Office
• Required Language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia. Fluent in Japanese and/or mandarin is added advantage.
• Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office application.
• Must possess own transportation with valid driving license and willing to travel extensively across Malaysia.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities based on the changing demands and timelines.
• Results-oriented, resourceful, proactive, strong problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
