About the role
Cord Chemicals Inc. is looking for a Sales Engineer who is willing to meet customers, visit project sites, understand their needs, and recommend the right products for their projects. This is not a purely office-based sales position. Regular travel, customer visits, and site visits are important parts of the job.
Key responsibilities
- Visit existing and potential customers regularly
- Visit project sites to understand the actual needs and conditions of the project
- Talk to customers and understand what they need for their projects
- Recommend and offer the right product based on the customer's project, application, and requirements
- Make sure the product being offered is suitable for its intended use
- Explain the products clearly, including their uses, benefits, and proper application
- Review project requirements and specifications when needed
- Look for new customers, projects, and sales opportunities
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers
- Follow up ongoing projects from inquiry until order or completion
