SALES ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow up on and manage assigned projects from the specification stage through to project completion, maintaining close engagement with consultants, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders at the Johor Bahru branch level.
• Conduct regular customer visits and relationship-building activities with approximately 25 M&E consulting firms in Johor Bahru, as well as key developers, architects, end users, and customers across the industrial and commercial sectors.
• Provide technical support for specification activities, system design, CAD drawings, CAC software calculations, and quotation preparation.
• Work closely with the sales team and contractors to convert specified projects into secured orders and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
• Take full ownership of specified projects and proactively drive them through to successful project award, order conversion, and project closure.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.
• Preferably executives specializing in Sales/Business Development or equivalent.
• Working experiences in Air-Conditioning sector will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, follow-up and negotiate effectively.
• Possess good analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and result-driven approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to analyse data and prepare sales reports.
• Excellent command of English & Bahasa Malaysia (both verbal and written). Mandarin and Cantonese language will be an added advantage.
