Sales Engineer

About the role

As a Sales Engineer at NUR AFAR SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in the company's Mechanical Engineering division. This full-time position is based in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. You will be responsible for providing technical sales support, liaising with clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions.

Job Description

1. Providing technical sales support to customers, including product recommendations and solutions
2. Assisting in the preparation of sales proposals, tender submissions, and technical documentation
3. Collaborating with the engineering team to understand product capabilities and features
4. Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
5. Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities
6. Providing after-sales support and ensuring customer satisfaction
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant sales experience in the Power Plant & Pumps Industry
3. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
4. Willing to learn, proactive, and able to follow instructions from senior engineers
5. Good teamwork and communication skills
6. Able to work on site and adapt to operational requirements
7. Willing to travel for site visits and customer meetings as required
8. Strong technical understanding and ability to translate complex engineering concepts into layman's terms
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present to both technical and non-technical audiences
10. Proven track record of successful sales and customer relationship management
