About the role
Service Sales Engineer positioned in a company operating in the lift & escalator industry. The role combines after-sales customer service with sales responsibilities for escalators, elevators, moving walks, spare parts, and maintenance contract services.
Key responsibilities
- Act as Customer Service After Sales representative
- Sell Escalators, Elevators & Moving Walks
- Sell Spare Parts for Escalators, Elevators & Moving Walks
- Sell monthly maintenance contract services for Escalators & Elevators
- Monitor ongoing service contracts
- Act as Project Manager for spare parts sales, overseeing the sales process, monitoring technicians during installation, and managing billing
- Serve as Project Manager for spare parts sales, overseeing the entire process from the initial sale and technician supervision during installation through to billing
- Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain good relationships
- Willing to travel outside the city for assignments
About you
- Able to listen to and resolve customer complaints
- Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills with customers, particularly when handling complaints
- Able to quickly learn technical knowledge of elevators & escalators
- Minimum S1 education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (fresh graduates welcome)
- Able to operate computer (Ms Office)
- Own a two-wheeled vehicle and possess a Class C driving license
- Own a motorcycle and a valid motorcycle driving license (SIM C)
