Sales Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. To grow sales with targeted profitability within assigned territories and industry segments
2. To identify prospective customers and analyse them for business opportunities within product, packages and services
3. Maintaining relationships and business with existing customers
4. To visit customers and do walk through surveys to identify opportunities
5. Managing and interpreting customer requirements
6. To report market trends to Management
7. Preparing customer quotations
8. Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
9. Offering after-sales support services
10. Administering customer accounts
11. Preparing reports
12. Meeting regular sales targets
13. Recording and maintaining customer contact data
14. Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
15. Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet customers needs
16. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
17. Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
18. Solving customer problems by solution selling

Preferred candidate profile

Should be handling products like boilers, valves, steam traps etc
