Sales Engineer

Key Accountabilities

Ensure new business wins

• Identification of new business opportunities along with Key Account Manager.
• Navigate new / prospective customers to support sales strategies.
• Ensure new business / customer wins in line with strategy / budget.
• Keep track on competitor growth plan and activity.
• Support Key accounts managers for successful navigations of new business wins.

Effective customer relationship management

• Develop customer relationship for enhancing customer confidence.
• Timely submission of quotation to customer.
• Timely and constant communication with customer on RFQ progress
• Support Customer for development quality concerns with internal QA team
• Timely feedback to customers on general business queries.

Manage daily activities of sales Department

• To study the drawing & macro feasibility for each part received under RFQ.
• To release the design works order after receipt of LOI from customer / KAM
• Responsible for managing RFQs through eRFQ.
• Price negotiation and support documentation preparation & level 1 negotiation
• Release monthly sample submission plan in line with customers target date
• Sales order maintenance for sample plant in ERP
• Coordinating with CFT for on time sample submission & for PPAP documents.
• Timely collection of tool & development charges.
• Keep track on Competitor Growth plan & activity.
• Ensure timely development of parts by following up with Engineering team and Plant.
• Prepare weekly & monthly reports.
