Sales Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically knowledgeable Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our technical solutions and customer needs, providing expert guidance throughout the sales process. This role requires a strong understanding of both sales strategies and technical concepts, ensuring that our clients receive tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and present appropriate solutions.
• Reviews specifications and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost quotes.
• Provide technical support during pre-sales discussions and post-sales follow-up.
• Prepares sales orders for orders obtained and coordinates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive products.
• Work closely with engineering teams to communicate client feedback and product enhancements.

Skills

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
• Strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate it effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
