About the role

Far East Refrigeration (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of our commercial refrigeration solutions business. This full-time position will involve working closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Actively prospecting and identifying new business opportunities
• Conducting site visits and technical assessments to understand client requirements
• Preparing comprehensive proposals and presentations to showcase our products and services
• Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals effectively
• Providing post-sales support and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Collaborating with the technical and design teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings
• Contributing to the development of the company's sales and marketing strategies

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in the commercial refrigeration or HVAC industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to provide tailored solutions to clients
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and certifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with sales automation tools
• A self-motivated and results-driven attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
