Sales Engineer

As a Wearparts Sales Engineer, you will bring an excellent engineering and fabrication background, with the ability to read and work to complex engineering drawings. Previous experience in sales and estimating within a subcontract manufacturing environment is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of key processes including Laser Cutting, Press Braking, Machining, Welding and Fabrication. You will be responsible for developing the market and Hardox Wearparts business in the region – including new segments and applications, and upgrades to more advanced materials. Activities include end-user visits, technical training, identifying marketing opportunities and upgrading projects. You will analyse and develop the strategy to increase end-user reach, manage several customer meetings per week, and independently set up training courses and meetings, with consistent follow-up, reporting and planning.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Mining Engineering
• Working experience in wear solutions offerings in the aftermarket
• 4–5 years of experience in an end-user segment (mining, cement, etc.); international company experience is a merit
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to prepare accurate reports
• Strong communication skills to discuss requirements with customers and internal departments
• Proactive approach to new business opportunities and continuous improvement
• Strong social skills to build trust and long-term relationships
• Strategic thinker, confident presenting to colleagues and external customers
• Fluent English (written and spoken); local language for the job location
• Valid UAE Driving Licence
