Sales Engineer

About the role

A Sales Engineer is responsible for combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide solutions that meet customer needs. The role supports the Senior Sales Engineer in solution selling to prospects, executing strategic deals, modeling financial business cases, and matching customer requirements to proposed solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients
• Develop long-term relationships with clients
• Collaborating with the sales team to meet targets
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
• Planning and scheduling sales call schedules
• Staying up to date with product specifications, industry trends, and competitor offerings
• Preparing proposals, technical documents, and cost estimates
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products or services
• Presenting and demonstrating technical products to potential clients
• Answering technical questions and addressing customer concerns

About you

• Graduate of any degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, or electronic engineering
• Preferably with strong sales skills or, at a minimum, relevant sales experience
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply as long as they have good communication skills.
