Sales Engineer

Traceforce secures AI-native applications—across browser extensions, desktop apps, and CLI agents—by deploying directly at the device layer rather than relying on network gateways or standard enterprise APIs. Through a single on-device agent, it delivers real-time visibility, vulnerability remediation, runtime controls on tool calls, and incident investigation via TraceGraph.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery and deliver tailored demos to CISOs, security engineers and IT leaders
• Scope, run and close out pilots: deployment, success criteria and the readout that converts a pilot into a contract
• Own security questionnaires, architecture reviews and deployment design across macOS, Windows and Linux fleets
• Build and maintain the demo environment, pilot playbook and technical collateral
• Feed customer requirements, objections and competitive intelligence back to product and engineering
• Partner with the founding team on pipeline, from first call to signature.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years as a sales engineer or solutions engineer at a security vendor; endpoint, EDR, browser security, SSE/DLP or AI security preferred
• Hands-on with endpoint agents, proxies, MDM and identity: you can deploy, troubleshoot and explain the product without an engineer in the room
• A record of running enterprise pilots that convert, working directly with security teams
• Clear, credible communicator with CISOs and the engineers who report to them
• Startup experience preferred. Must be comfortable with ambiguity, thin process and constant change.
• Bonus: scripting (Python, Go or Node.js), prior early-stage experience, working knowledge of LLM and AI agent tooling
