Sales Engineer

Job brief:

Develop technically suitable ev/solar proposals and support sales from initial assessment through project handover.

Responsibilities:

• Identify business opportunities and understand customers’ technical and commercial requirements.
• Review electricity bills, consumption patterns and site information.
• Conduct or coordinate site assessments to evaluate solar installation feasibility.
• Work with the engineering team to propose suitable system capacity, equipment and layouts.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and estimated generation, savings and payback calculations.
• Present solutions and explain technical specifications to customers.
• Support tenders, commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on specifications, costs and project requirements.
• Ensure agreed technical requirements are clearly documented during project handover.
• Maintain the sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Support site assessments when required to evaluate project requirements and installation feasibility.
• Provide technical and sales support for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

Requirements:

• Preferably possess own transport and be willing to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
• Preferably have at least one year of relevant experience in technical sales, solar PV or energy storage solutions. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
