SALES ENGINEER

About the role

The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting the company's products and technical solutions. The position combines engineering knowledge and sales expertise to understand customer requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, prepare commercial proposals, and achieve established sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Promote and sell the company's products, equipment, and technical services
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals, product presentations, and sales documentation
• Conduct customer visits, meetings, product demonstrations, and technical discussions
• Follow up on sales leads, quotations, and business opportunities to secure orders
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate proposals and timely order fulfillment
• Provide product information and coordinate after-sales support as needed
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts and achieve assigned sales targets

About Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Relevant sales or technical experience is preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Ability to understand technical specifications and commercial requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools
• Willingness to travel for customer visits when required
