Hire Sales Engineer – North West England & North Wales

Visum Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an established equipment hire specialist, who are looking to appoint a Hire Sales Engineer to cover the North West of England and North Wales.

This is a great opportunity for a technically minded sales professional to take ownership of a patch, selling hire services to construction, civil engineering and wastewater customers and providing engineering solutions on a wide range of projects.

The Role

• You will sell the company’s hire services and associated rental products across your region.
• You will advise customers on the right equipment and set-up for temporary water management requirements on site.
• You will win and grow business across construction, civil engineering, utilities, quarrying and port and waterway customers.
• You will build long-term relationships with contractors, project managers and procurement teams.
• You will work closely with the depot and engineering teams to make sure solutions are delivered smoothly.

About You

• We are looking for an experienced sales professional from an equipment hire, pumping or technical products background.
• You will be comfortable discussing technical requirements with customers and recommending practical solutions.
• Experience in the construction, civil engineering or water industries would be a significant advantage.
• You will be a confident communicator with a proven track record of winning new business.

Package

• Negotiable basic salary of circa £60,000
