Sales Engineer

About the role

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent.
• Preferably with some working experience in Sales and Marketing related activities.
• Dynamic, result-oriented, reliable character with positive outloook and strong sense of commitment and discipline.
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with good command in English
• Must be willing to travel outstation and to regional countries when required.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Reports to the Senior Sales or Senior Management level.
• Responsible for securing sales and achieving the sales target set by the company
• Responsible for identifying potential opportunities/Sales leads and initiating steps by proposing a suitable solution/system to achieve the sales objectives/target.
• Optimize customer retention and develop new markets and ensure growth in the existing market segment and sales network.
• To lead or guide a team of sales personnel and coordinators as assigned by the Management
• To provide assistance and guidance to newly employed staff assigned to the department
• To lead the sales and Engineering teams for the project/tender assigned by the Management.
• To assume the responsibility of the departmental manager in her/her absence or when requested by the management.
• To submit weekly/monthly sales activity report
