Sales Engineer (Entry Level)

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team by preparing technical documentation, presentations, and proposals for prospective clients in the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industries
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients, explaining features, benefits, and applications relevant to their business needs
• Gather and analyze customer requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions
• Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to develop tailored solutions that address specific client challenges
• Prepare detailed analysis reports on sales opportunities, competitor offerings, and market trends within the manufacturing, transport, and logistics sector
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotations, and sales activities in the company's systems
• Provide post-sale technical support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional business
• Assist in identifying and qualifying new sales leads through research and networking within the industry
• Contribute to continuous improvement by gathering customer feedback and sharing insights with the sales and technical teams

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field

• Strong understanding of manufacturing, transport, and logistics operations, or willingness to quickly develop this knowledge

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think analytically and develop practical solutions

• Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in preparing technical documentation and reports

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced sales environment

• Fluency in Indonesian and English, both written and spoken

• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients when required
