Sales Engineer/ Estimation Engineer

Job summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer/ Sales Engineer to join our team in Kozhikode, Kerala. The role involves reviewing RFQs and technical requirements, preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting the sales and engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review RFQs (Request for Quotations) and understand customer requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations based on RFQs, project requirements, and applicable price lists.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and related documents.
• Assist Sales Engineers with technical and commercial specifications and discussions.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to obtain technical details, material costs, and other pricing information.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates considering materials, fabrication, labour, and other relevant costs.
• Ensure quotations are accurate and submitted within the required timelines
• Maintain proper records of quotations, estimates, and pricing details.

Requirements

• Experience in heavy metal fabrication is required/preferred.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in estimation/costing.
• Good understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, and fabrication requirements.
• Backend office experience as an Estimation Engineer required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation/costing tools.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to support Sales Engineers in technical and commercial discussions.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
