Role Overview

With a strong Data Centre project pipeline and continued expansion of our product offerings and markets, we are seeking Sales Engineer with experience with HVAC fire and smoke solutions to join our team on a full-time basis. We are seeking a technically minded person with excellent communication and negotiation skills to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a person with experience of the building services, HVAC or data centre industry. You will be required to work on projects throughout Europe and support clients while promoting our offerings and brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in the selection and specification of fire and smoke HVAC products, ensuring the best solutions for client requirements.

Manage project documentation including technical submittals, RFIs, design changes, project schedules, procurement programmes, and change control processes.

Support project delivery through quality assurance, testing, commissioning activities, and strategic input into value engineering and off-site prefabrication solutions.

Assist with commercial activities including quotations, pricing support, business development initiatives, and promoting Q-Nis products and services to clients and consulting engineers.

Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and senior management, with occasional travel across Ireland and Europe to support projects and strengthen customer relationships.

Requirements

Self-motivated and customer-focused professional with the ability to work independently, manage customer expectations, and build strong client relationships.

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Fire Engineering (or equivalent trade qualification), with previous sales experience and ideally exposure to the ventilation, construction, or data centre industry.

Willingness to travel throughout Ireland and Europe, with full EU working rights and a clean European driving licence.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, supported by excellent IT proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.

Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including occasional out-of-hours commitments.
