Sales Engineer - Fire fighting, Fire Alarm, Hydrant Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with fire consultants, architects, MEP/PMC contractors, builders, and end clients across Bangalore and surrounding regions
• Understand project requirements and prepare technical proposals, system design inputs, and equipment selection in coordination with the design/engineering team
• Prepare and present quotations, BOQs, cost estimates, and techno-commercial offers
• Conduct site visits to assess fire safety requirements and recommend appropriate systems
• Ensure proposed solutions comply with relevant codes and standards (NBC, NFPA, TAC, local Fire Department norms) and support clients through approval processes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fire consultants, contractors, PMCs, and key decision-makers to generate leads and repeat business
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
• Coordinate with pre-sales, design, installation, and after-sales/service teams to ensure smooth order execution
• Track market trends, competitor products, and pricing to provide inputs for sales strategy
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline in CRM
• Attend product demonstrations, trade shows, and client meetings to promote company offerings
• Ensure timely payment collection and resolve client queries related to orders and after-sales issues
