Sales Engineer for cutting tools

POST - SALES ENGINEER – FOR BENGLURU AND SOUTH REGION

Universal Tool India is a renowned cutting tool manufacturing company with over 4 decades of industry experience.

We are looking for a self-driven, target-oriented and technically sound Sales Engineer for Sales, Marketing and Application of Solid Carbide Cutting Tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Manage existing and key customer accounts.
• Sales of Solid Carbide Drills, End Mills, Reamers, Cutters and Special Cutting Tools.
• Understand customer machining requirements and recommend suitable tooling.
• Conduct tool/application trials and monitor tool performance.
• Convert successful trials into Purchase Orders and repeat business.
• Generate enquiries, quotations and follow up for orders.
• Achieve assigned sales targets.
• Provide technical/application support to customers.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and conduct regular field visits.
• Identify new applications, markets and business opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in Cutting Tool Sales, Technical Sales, Application Engineering or CNC/VMC Tooling preferred.
• Good knowledge of machining applications, cutting parameters and tooling.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings.
• Target-oriented and willing to travel.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech / Diploma Mechanical / Production / DPT / MBA – Technical/Marketing.

Experience: 2–5 years preferred. Experienced ITI candidates / VMC Tool Setters may also apply.

Freshers with strong technical aptitude may also be considered.

Salary and incentives

To be decided at the time of interview based on experience, technical knowledge and capability.
