Sales Engineer (Inside Sales)

Help engineers, startups and manufacturers turn their ideas into real products. Customers come to 3Ding through the website, phone, WhatsApp and walk-ins, so there's no cold calling. You'll understand what each customer is building, help them choose the right way to make it, and stay with them until their order is delivered.

What You'll Do

• Reply to enquiries quickly, on phone, WhatsApp, email and the website
• Find out what the customer is building and suggest the right 3D printer, material or manufacturing method
• Send quotes and estimates, and follow up until the order is confirmed
• Follow up on payments until they're received
• Keep customers updated until delivery, working with the production team, who make and ship each order
• Once in a while, visit a customer in or around Chennai when they ask (rare, and travel is covered)

Requirements You'll do well here if you

• Have 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, customer support or a technical role
• Speak and write English well. You'll talk to engineers and purchase managers every day.
• Have a technical background: an engineering or science degree, or work experience at a technical company (machines, electronics, IT hardware, industrial products)
• Are comfortable on calls and WhatsApp most of the day, and actually follow up

Nice to have

• You can talk to customers in Hindi, since many of them are from outside Tamil Nadu
• Any experience with 3D printing

Benefits

• ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 a month in hand, depending on experience
• Variable pay of up to 20% of your salary, based on the sales you help close

Working days: Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays, 9 am to 6 pm.
