Duties As a Sales Engineer Intern, your primary role is to support the sales team in the technical aspects of selling a product or service. Your duties may include:

• Selling of water and energy related equipment/products and services.
• Attending to customer inquiries, carrying out site visits and making proposals.
• Preparation of tender documents, quotations, bill of quantities
• Customer development and retention.
• Business development: Look for business opportunities to increase revenue and maintaining a positive annual growth.
• Research & analysis of market conditions & opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
• Preparing Weekly and Monthly sales reports.
• Project Management: Design, supervision of implementation, reporting.
• Preparation of engineering designs, drawings, BoQs, modelling.
• Any other task deemed necessary to accomplish the above.

Overall, your role as a sales engineer intern is to provide technical support to the sales team, helping to close deals and promote the product or service. You will need to be knowledgeable about the product or service, comfortable presenting to customers, and able to work collaboratively with the sales team.

You will be mentored by a Team of dedicated and Experienced Engineers.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer in any engineering discipline from a recognized University
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite
• Valid driving license is required
