What you'll be doing?

• Prepare quotations: Craft precise and timely quotations based on customers' technical needs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop new business: Pursue and expand business opportunities with both existing and potential clients, fostering growth and relationships.
• Customer liaison: Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing their needs from project inception to completion.
• Coordinate enquiries: Handle and resolve customer inquiries regarding production, schedules, and technical matters, ensuring smooth operations.
• Interdepartmental coordination: Work closely with various departments to fulfill customer requirements and resolve issues effectively.
• Project support: Assist in project coordination, from quotation to delivery, ensuring timely and quality fulfillment of customer orders.

Who are they looking for?

• Technical interest: A candidate with a keen interest in mechanical engineering and precision manufacturing processes.
• Education: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related Business discipline.
• Experience: At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably within a machining or precision manufacturing environment.
• Language: Proficient in Mandarin (spoken) — essential for effective communication with key clients and stakeholders. English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is also required.
• Transport & Travel: Possesses own transport and is willing to travel domestically for client site visits.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and customer-facing skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Industry Exposure: Prior sales or account management experience in precision engineering, gear manufacturing, CNC machining, or related industrial manufacturing sectors, with exposure to quotation preparation, supplier sourcing, and cross-functional project coordination is preferred but not required.
• Sector Knowledge: Experience working with customers across medical, electronics, aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors within a precision components manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
