About the role

We are seeking a talented Sales Engineer specialising in Mechanical Bearings to join our dynamic sales team. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as a crucial bridge between our technical capabilities and our clients' business needs, combining in-depth product knowledge with consultative selling expertise to drive revenue growth in the mechanical bearings sector. This role is strategically important to our organisation, as it directly influences client satisfaction, market penetration, and the successful positioning of our bearing solutions within the competitive landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mechanical bearings market through prospecting, networking, and relationship building with potential clients
• Provide technical consultation to clients, understanding their mechanical and operational requirements to recommend optimal bearing solutions
• Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations that accurately reflect client specifications and project requirements
• Present bearing products and solutions to clients, demonstrating technical features, performance benefits, and cost-effectiveness
• Conduct product demonstrations and site visits to showcase bearing capabilities and operational advantages
• Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
• Collaborate with internal engineering, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction
• Track sales pipeline, maintain accurate customer records, and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts
• Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote bearing products and generate leads
• Stay current with bearing industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advances to maintain competitive advantage

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience in mechanical systems and bearings
• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the mechanical bearings, industrial components, or related engineering sectors
• Strong technical knowledge of bearing types, specifications, applications, and performance characteristics across various industries
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling client communications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at multiple organisational levels
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients, conduct site visits, and attend industry events
• Preferred: ISO 9001 or similar quality management certification, or experience with procurement and supply chain processes
