SALES ENGINEER / PROJECT ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Handle new product development projects from customer enquiry through to mass production.

• Understand customer drawings, specifications, requirements and technical expectations.

• Coordinate with customers on new product requirements, feasibility, quotations and project schedules.

• Work closely with Tooling Design, Production, Quality Control, Purchasing and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.

• Coordinate the development of stamping dies/tooling, samples and trial production.

• Monitor project progress and ensure samples are completed according to customer requirements and agreed timelines.

• Liaise with customers during the sample submission, testing and approval process.

• Follow up and resolve technical issues, quality problems and customer feedback until customer sample approval is obtained.

• Coordinate the transition from approved samples to mass production.

• Prepare project reports, quotations, customer documentation and other relevant records.

• Visit customers when required for technical discussions, project meetings and business development.
