Are you a Registered Electrical Engineer looking to build your career in technical sales within the power and energy sector?

Our client is looking for a Sales Officer with an Electrical Engineering background to represent and promote electrical distribution products, develop customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and drive sales growth.

This is a technical-commercial sales role suited to an Electrical Engineer who understands electrical products and enjoys working directly with customers.

What You’ll Handle

• Present, promote, and sell electrical products to existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct cost-benefit and needs analysis for customers and prospects.
• Identify and develop new customer opportunities through cold calling and business development.
• Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes.
• Analyze territory and market potential and track sales and status reports.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product features, prices, and availability.
• Prepare sales quotations, customer accreditation documents, and bid documents.
• Attend pre-biddings and biddings.
• Accompany customers on Factory Acceptance Test visits.
• Coordinate sales activities with team members and other departments.
• Assist in the follow-up of trade receivables from customers.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
• Identify product improvements, new products, brands, and suppliers.
• Attend industry conferences to enhance product knowledge and establish professional networks.
• Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related business course.

• Preferably a Registered/Licensed Electrical Engineer.

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the electrical distribution trading industry or hands-on experience using electrical products.

• Knowledge and/or experience in the application of electrical products such as:

  • Pole line hardware
  • Connectors
  • Bi-metallic conductors
  • FRP crossarms
  • Transformers
  • Steel poles
  • Semi-conductive plastic ties

• Sales experience is an advantage but not required.

• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets.

• Strong selling, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.

• Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.

• Logical problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a goal-oriented mindset.

• Open to feedback, independent, highly motivated, and able to work with different types of people.

• Team player and willing to learn.

• Fluent in verbal and written English and Filipino.

• Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Microsoft/Google applications.

Electrical Products You’ll Work With

The role involves exposure to electrical distribution products including pole line hardware, connectors, bi-metallic conductors, FRP crossarms, transformers, steel poles, and semi-conductive plastic ties.

Work Arrangement

• Location: West Triangle, Quezon City
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Travel: Willing to travel to client locations nationwide

This is a technical-commercial Sales Officer role for an Electrical Engineer, offering a competitive monthly salary plus tiered sales commissions based on the products sold.
