Sales Engineer – Robotics & Vision Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across automotive, industrial, consumer, food, agricultural, appliance and other industries.
• Understand customer requirements and provide suitable robotics & vision solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts, testing and technical support.
• Support product sizing, selection and solution development.
• Develop basic CAD concept models for automation solutions.
• Prepare system cost estimates, technical proposals and quotations.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for solution development.
• Participate in technical reviews, project kick-offs and FAT.
• Maintain sales activities, leads and customer follow-ups.
• Build strong customer relationships and achieve business targets.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Robotics, PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo & Motion Controls and Vision Systems.
• Experience with Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Panasonic or Yaskawa robots.
• Knowledge of cameras, scanners and barcode systems.
• Strong technical writing, communication and negotiation skills.
• Good business development and networking abilities.
• Basic CAD knowledge is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits.

Qualification

BE/BTech/Diploma – Electrical / Electronics / Controls / Robotics or MBA – Marketing.

Ideal Candidate: 3–8 years of relevant experience in Robotics / Automation Sales / Technical Sales, with strong technical and business development skills.
