Position: Sales Engineer / Sales Manager

Location:
KL/Singapore

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and grow sales within assigned territories and customer accounts.

Identify new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.

Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and propose suitable solutions.

Follow up on opportunities, negotiate commercial terms, and secure orders.

Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners.

Conduct regular customer visits and provide technical and commercial support.

Monitor market trends, customer activities, and competitor developments.

Collaborate with internal teams including Service, Sales & Logistic and Finance to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Prepare sales forecasts, customer visit reports, and other sales-related reports.

Participate in industry exhibitions, seminars, and business development activities as required.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.

3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, industrial equipment, marine, engineering, or related industries.

Marine industry experience (shipowners, ship managers, shipyards) in SEA Region (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, etc.)

Strong ability to identify opportunities and convert them into business.

Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Customer-focused with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Good command of spoken and written English.

Willingness to travel within the region.
