Sales Engineer - Trainee

Location- Kudalwadi, Chikhli, Pune

Tirupati Machine Tools (TMT) is scaling rapidly in metal forming and sheet metal machinery and is looking for two sharp, ambitious Sales Engineer - Trainees (13 years of experience) to join our team in Kudalwadi, Chikhli, Pune. In this high-energy, field-driven role, you will build technical expertise in industrial machinery, engage directly with manufacturing clients, and drive our growth engine across Maharashtra and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Mastery: Learn our machinery inside outincluding Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Power Presses, CNC Press Brakes, Shearing Machines, and Fiber Laser Cutting Machinesunderstanding technical specs, tonnage, and application problem-solving.
• Client Visits & Lead Generation: Conduct regular field visits to fabrication units, auto component makers, and OEM suppliers. Qualify and follow up on leads generated via CRM, digital campaigns, and field networks.
• Techno-Commercial Quotations: Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals under senior guidance.
• Demos & Coordination: Run live product demonstrations at our showroom and customer sites while coordinating with service, dispatch, and accounts teams for seamless customer onboarding.
• Data & CRM Management: Maintain rigorous discipline by logging every call, visit, and follow-up in the CRM system.
• Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, emerging applications, and key industrial clusters for expansion.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial machinery sales, capital equipment, or shop-floor roles (production/maintenance/quality in sheet metal, press shops, or fabrication).
• Language & Comm: Fluent in Marathi and Hindi, with comfortable working knowledge of English.
• Field Readiness: Must possess a two-wheeler, a valid driving licence, and a high willingness for daily field travel across industrial belts.
• Location: Based in Pune (or willing to relocate to Chikhali, Pune). Local candidates from Pune industrial belts (Chakan, Bhosari, Talegaon, etc.) and surrounding Maharashtra regions are preferred.
