About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer (Welding Engineer and Mechanical Engineer) to join our team on a full-time basis in the Central Thailand region. This is a strategic position that bridges our technical expertise with our sales operations, playing a crucial role in building relationships with clients and providing tailored welding solutions. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, offering technical guidance, and ensuring our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role offers the opportunity to leverage both your welding engineering knowledge and mechanical engineering background to drive business growth whilst maintaining strong technical credibility in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities

1.         Identify and assess client needs to recommend appropriate welding solutions and mechanical engineering applications

2.         Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of welding products and equipment to prospective and existing customers

3.         Provide expert technical support during the sales process, including site visits and feasibility studies

4.         Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations based on customer specifications and project requirements

5.         Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and long-term requirements

6.         Collaborate with the internal engineering and production teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable

7.         Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to support customer satisfaction and retention

8.         Stay current with industry trends, new welding technologies and mechanical engineering advancements

9.         Participate in trade shows, industry events and customer training sessions to promote our products and services

10.    Prepare technical documentation, case studies and reports to support marketing and sales initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Welding Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent (Welcome to new graduates)
• Must reside in or near Bangkok, Chonburi, Rayong or the assigned area.
• 1 to 2 years of sales experience in the Welding Wier, Automotive, Offshore and Construction Industries
• Candidates must have good work management skills, good oral and written communication skills (including English or Japanese language).
• Able to work effectively under stress, independently with minimum supervision, and on a tight schedule.
• Willing to travel for meetings or sales training if necessary.
• Knowledge of Welding machines and Welding consumables.
• Knowledge of MS OFFICE (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD)
• Customer-oriented and service-minded to initiate new relationships.
• With strong interpersonal, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be creative, hardworking, as well as a good team player.
• Good skill English will be an advantage.
