Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Executive to join our team at Floor Depot Retail. This is a full-time position based in Selangor, where you will play a vital role in driving our sales growth and building strong customer relationships. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our flooring products to both retail customers and corporate clients, contributing directly to the company's revenue targets and market expansion objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Engaging with customers to understand their flooring needs and presenting appropriate product solutions
• Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive customer outreach and conversion techniques
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Providing product knowledge and technical information to customers, including specifications, pricing and installation options
• Processing customer orders and ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery coordination
• Attending product demonstrations, training sessions and industry events to enhance product expertise
• Identifying new sales opportunities and potential client segments in the Selangor region

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the retail, construction materials, home improvement or related industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers
• Excellent numerical ability and confidence in handling quotations, pricing and financial negotiations
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a competitive drive to succeed
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
• Preferably 1-3 years of sales experience in flooring, building materials or home décor sectors
