Sales Executive

About the role

The primary job responsibilities of a sales executive include maintaining a healthy relationship with the company's clients. The client is the most important component to being a successful sales executive. You should always be available to the client and identify new business opportunities, customers, markets and potential products.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails
• Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
• Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
• Gather market and customer information
• Negotiate on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
• Record sales and booking information and send copies to the Sandakan office and NLK
• Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
• Make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and provide customers with quotations
• Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements

About you

• Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to all incoming sales enquiries by telephone, fax and email
• Ability to prepare brochures as required
• Ability to coordinate all details for the client, including F&B and accommodation
