Sales Executive

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within shipping, logistics, FMCG, mining, oil & gas, construction and other relevant sectors.
• Prospect for new customers through market research, networking, customer visits and industry events.
• Promote the company's shipping, cabotage and containerised transport solutions.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently pursue new opportunities.
• Achieve agreed sales targets for revenue, TEUs and customer acquisition.
• Identify opportunities to convert cargo from road transport to sea transport.
• Prepare commercial proposals and quotations in coordination with the Commercial and Operations teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms within approved company guidelines.

Requirement

• 3–5 years of experience in sales, shipping, freight forwarding, logistics or a related industry.
• Experience in containerised shipping is highly desirable.
• Existing relationships within the logistics, shipping, FMCG, mining, construction or oil & gas sectors will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of commercial processes, quotations and negotiations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
