Sales Executive Console (LCL) Forwarding Import Export

About the role

PT. Milenial Solusi Internusa is seeking a Sales Executive Console (LCL) Forwarding Import Export to join our dynamic freight and cargo forwarding team. This is a full-time position based in North Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing client relationships within the less-than-container load (LCL) forwarding sector. You will be at the forefront of our import-export operations, developing new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction whilst supporting the company's strategic expansion objectives in the competitive logistics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the LCL forwarding import-export market, building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective clients
• Provide quotations, rate proposals and commercial offers to existing and potential customers for import and export LCL services
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their shipping needs and ensuring consistent service delivery
• Liaise between clients and operations teams to coordinate bookings, documentation and shipment schedules
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing strategies to maintain competitive advantage
• Prepare and present sales presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating the value of our forwarding services
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to maintain client satisfaction and retention
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and Object Key Result (OKR) assesment
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotations and sales activities using company systems
• Collaborate with internal departments including operations, finance and documentation teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding, logistics or shipping industry, with demonstrated success in LCL forwarding sales

• Strong knowledge of import-export procedures, documentation requirements and international trade regulations

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele

• Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

• Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and relevant logistics software platforms

• Relevant qualification or certification in logistics, freight forwarding or international trade (preferred but not essential)
