Sales Executive | Flexible Working Arrangement

Position: Sales Executive

Industry: Freight Forwarding & Logistics

Location: Penang

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm (Flexible Working)

Salary: RM3-5k Basic Salary + Unlimited Sales Commission (depends on experience & last drawn)

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities through cold calling and appointment setting.
• Develop new client accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
• Meet with clients to present the company's freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Prepare and provide accurate quotations based on customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and service terms to secure new business.
• Follow up with prospects and customers until bookings are confirmed and provide excellent after-sales support.
• Respond to customer enquiries and recommend suitable logistics solutions.
• Update customer information and sales activities in the company's database.
• Conduct sales presentations at clients' premises.
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Comply with company attendance requirements, including clock-in and clock-out procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry is an added advantage.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic, outgoing, and customer-oriented personality.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• High level of stress tolerance and adaptability.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas on an ad-hoc basis.
