Sales Greeter

Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda is hiring a personable part-time Sales Greeter. The Sales Greeter serves as a front-line representative for the dealership and is responsible for greeting customers as they enter the showroom, answering basic inquiries, and directing customers to the appropriate party.

Other duties include:

• Obtaining and recording basic demographic information about each customer.
• Entering prospects information (up cards) into Contact Management for follow-up.
• Keeping an eye on the duplicating of customer information in the Contact Management system.
• Walking customers to the correct department, notifying the appropriate salesperson that a customer is waiting, or introducing the customer to a salesperson.
• Answering incoming sales calls. Directing caller to appropriate individual or takes a thorough message.
• Communicating messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the showroom and customer areas.
• Maintaining a professional appearance.
• Maintaining a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
• This position requires frequent standing and walking.
• Courteous, effective, and professional communication with customers and staff is required.
• Must be comfortable interacting with clients on a regular basis.

Pay is $16-$17 Hourly.

Schedule needed: 4pm-8pm on Monday and 9am-6pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test.
