Sales Intern

This internship provides exposure to sales operations and dealer relationship management within Carlist.my. The intern will support the sales team in customer engagement, product promotion, market research, and maintaining dealer account quality while gaining hands-on industry experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the team in engaging dealers within assigned areas
• Assist in promoting monetized products and enhancement products to dealers
• Learn and support dealer training on product usage
• Help manage and update dealer inventory listings to ensure quality and accuracy
• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with existing dealers and potential customers
• Follow up on customer inquiries and inconsistencies when required
• Support preparation of daily activity reports, including sales progress and dealer updates
• Assist the team in achieving monthly car listing and revenue targets
• Gather basic market insights and feedback from assigned areas
• Maintain good relationships and professional communication with dealers
• Coordinate with the listings force team to ensure listing quality is maintained
• Support ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the team

Requirements:

• Possess own transportation as there will be client visitation involved
• Possess a minimum school certificate (SPM or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; ability to converse in Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage
• Willing to learn, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly and courteous when interacting with customers and dealers
