Hours: Flexible hours - 15-20/week minimum, Mon-Fri.
Location: Hamilton, Brisbane QLD (on-site role)
Pay: 33.05/hour + commission
Contract: Casual

A Sales Intern will play a key role in helping businesses grow though our industry leading platforms.

• Sell and secure listings, advertising placements, and additional cloud-based hosted services across our print and digital platforms
• Learn proven sales techniques and strategies through hands-on experience
• Gain important business skills through the structured training program and working closely with experienced sales professionals
• Build and manage strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Maintain client accounts, sales records, payments, and orders
• Grow and earn additional business
• Take the worry out of post-graduation plans, successful interns can turn into full-time sales reps post graduation

Requirements

• Actively studying and working towards a Business, Communications, Marketing, or related degree
• Stable, progressive work experience
• Motivated, adaptable and eager to learn
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Confident working independently and within a team
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Professional presentation, demeanor, and attitude
• Ability to gain knowledge of the products and customers of the Agriculture, Aviation, Heavy Construction Equipment and Trucking industries.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air or ground
• Prior customer service, telemarketing, or hospitality experience helpful but not required
