What they need
Afterglow Medical Aesthetics & Wellness | Corte Madera / San Francisco
Afterglow is seeking a confident, personable, results-driven sales professional to lead client consultations, elevate the client experience, and help manage daily business operations.
Sales experience is required. Clinical experience is not. We can teach you our services—we’re looking for someone who already knows how to build relationships, identify opportunities, handle objections, and close.
About the Role
You’ll guide clients from their first inquiry through consultation, enrollment, and ongoing care. Our services span medical aesthetics, body contouring, hair restoration, hormone optimization, and concierge medicine.
The ideal candidate is a compelling communicator who makes people feel comfortable discussing their goals. You can move a conversation beyond a single cosmetic concern and help clients explore how their appearance, energy, confidence, and overall health may connect—then coordinate with our clinical team to identify appropriate next steps.
This is a hands-on sales and management role with direct responsibility for conversion, retention, team performance, and a polished client experience.
What You’ll Do
Lead sales and client consultations
- Conduct engaging consultations to understand clients’ goals, priorities, and budget.
- Explain services, memberships, and comprehensive programs in clear, relatable language.
- Build interest in concierge medicine, HRT, and other high-value services when aligned with the client’s goals and provider recommendations.
- Confidently discuss pricing, address objections, follow up with leads, and close sales.
- Develop lasting client relationships that support repeat visits, referrals, and retention.
- Partner with licensed providers for medical evaluation and treatment recommendations.
Own the client experience and office operations
- Create a welcoming, attentive experience from the first call through ongoing follow-up.
- Help manage scheduling, client communications, team coordination, and daily office workflow.
- Resolve client concerns with warmth, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Keep lead records, consultation notes, and follow-up tasks organized and current.
- Identify gaps in the client journey and put practical improvements into place.
Support team performance and business growth
- Coach staff on service presentation, consultative selling, follow-up, and client communication.
- Track sales KPIs, including lead conversion, consultation bookings, average sale, follow-up activity, and retention.
- Prepare sales reports and turn results into clear actions for the team.
- Collaborate with marketing on content, campaigns, events, and local partnerships.
- Bring client questions and feedback into marketing so our messaging reflects what clients actually care about.
Who You Are
- An experienced salesperson with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Comfortable selling premium services and discussing significant financial commitments.
- Persuasive, warm, articulate, and confident without making clients feel pressured.
- Skilled at asking thoughtful questions, listening closely, and explaining value.
- Organized enough to manage a sales pipeline while keeping daily operations moving.
- Comfortable holding yourself and others accountable to measurable goals.
- Proactive, resourceful, and excited to help grow a business.
- Able to learn a broad service menu while respecting the boundaries between sales education and medical advice.
Experience in medical aesthetics, wellness, luxury hospitality, fitness memberships, concierge services, or other consultative sales environments is a plus. Leadership, staff training, CRM, and office management experience are also valuable.
You do not need a clinical license or medical background to succeed in this role.
Why Afterglow?
Afterglow brings medical aesthetics and personalized wellness together in an elevated, relationship-focused setting. This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of sales, shape the client experience, and help build a team that delivers thoughtful service and strong results.
