Sales Leader

Location: Pietermaritzburg
Salary: R5,500 per month + Commission
Employment Type: 4 months contract (November 2026 - February 2027)

We are looking for a Junior Sales Leader to join our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has previously supervised or led a sales team and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Sales Agents.
• Ensure the team consistently works towards and achieves monthly sales targets.
• Set daily and weekly sales objectives for the team.
• Monitor individual and team performance.
• Provide coaching, guidance and motivation to team members.
• Assist team members in improving their sales techniques and performance.
• Track sales results and provide regular feedback to management.
• Maintain a positive, productive and professional team environment.
• Personally achieve your own individual sales targets.
• Lead by example by actively participating in the sales process.
• Identify challenges affecting team performance and assist in resolving them.

Requirements

• Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a sales team is essential.
• Previous sales experience is essential.
• Proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Confident and comfortable motivating others.
• Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment.
• Good leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual and professional.
• Must be willing to lead from the front and sell alongside the team.

R5,500 per month + Commission
