About the role

JMZ Marketing Inc. is seeking a Sales Level 1 professional to join our dynamic call centre and customer service team. This is a full-time position based in Catarman, Liloan, Cebu. In this entry-level sales role, you will be responsible for generating leads, engaging with potential customers, and closing sales through outbound and inbound calls. You will be the frontline representative of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service whilst driving revenue growth for the organisation. This role is crucial to our sales pipeline and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Making outbound calls to potential customers to identify sales opportunities and generate leads
• Responding to inbound customer enquiries and converting them into sales
• Presenting products and services to customers in a clear, persuasive and professional manner
• Addressing customer questions and concerns whilst maintaining a positive and helpful attitude
• Recording accurate customer information and transaction details in the company system
• Meeting or exceeding daily and monthly sales targets
• Following company scripts and sales procedures whilst maintaining a natural, conversational tone
• Handling customer objections effectively and negotiating to close sales
• Providing feedback to management on customer feedback and market trends
• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour at all times

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a clear speaking voice and ability to articulate ideas effectively
• Strong listening and empathy skills to understand customer needs and concerns
• High level of motivation and resilience, with the ability to handle rejection positively
• Proficiency with computer systems and basic typing skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy call centre environment
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Reliability and punctuality, with consistent attendance
• Previous customer service or sales experience is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates
• Ability to work in a team whilst also taking initiative independently
• Knowledgeable in SAAS website is a plus
