Sales Manager

Primary Purpose of Job:

• Responsible for sales of security and communication systems projects; ensure profitability of project orders secured.
• Monitor prospects being followed up; support marketing efforts.
• Ensure that order intake targets and margins are met with; build up portfolio of prospects to be followed up.

Major Responsibilities:

• Review consultants' specifications and customers' requirements and ensure they are clearly understood and complied with.
• Lead the design of the various systems to ensure compliance at optimized cost.
• Gather market feedback and information.
• Collate quotations from suppliers and study and analyze for suitability for intended projects
• Assume ownership for the allocated prospects.
• Coordinate and facilitate customer requirements.
• Work closely with the projects and service team for a seamless project implementation.
• Meet consultants and customers regularly.
• Work with teammates in preparation of response to major tenders and sales enquiries.
• Report to Director for prospects and follow up and special marketing efforts where required.
• Organize and lead special marketing activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical or similar) with relevant project sales experience.
• With 5 years of relevant experience in similar industry including successful management of various projects.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in complex and diverse work environment
• Strong commercial feel with aptitude for project / order closing.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills and negotation skills.
• Demonstrate aptitude for effective leadership.
