Lead the store. Grow the relationships. Create the opportunities.

This isn't a traditional store management role.

It's a hybrid leadership role that sits at the intersection of retail operations and field-based sales. You'll lead the Hastings store and team while also getting out into the Canterbury community to build relationships, develop new business and grow NZ Uniforms' presence across the region.

Around 60% of your role is store leadership and operations, and 40% is external sales, account management and relationship development.

That means being able to shift gears. One moment you're coaching your team or reviewing store performance; the next you're meeting a school, following up a business opportunity, attending a community event or finding a creative solution for a customer.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach and develop the Hastings store team.
• Drive sales, customer experience and store performance.
• Build strong relationships with existing schools, businesses and community partners.
• Get out into the market, meet people and create new relationships.
• Identify and pursue new sales and business opportunities.
• Manage opportunities from the first conversation through to delivery and follow-up.
• Find practical and creative solutions for customers.
• Take ownership of sales targets, KPIs and results.

You may come from retail leadership, sales, account management or business development. We're more interested in your ability to lead, connect and grow than in finding someone with one particular career path.

You'll also need a full New Zealand driver's licence and confidence using business and retail systems.
