Sales Manager

Business Development and Revenue Generation

• Identify startups, OEMs, manufacturers, industrial companies and other businesses requiring product-development or engineering support.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and surrounding industrial regions.
• Generate leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, exhibitions, industrial visits and direct field prospecting.
• Conduct scheduled and door-to-door visits to industrial areas, business parks, manufacturing facilities and startup communities.
• Secure meetings with founders, product heads, plant managers, R&D managers, procurement teams and other decision-makers.
• Understand the prospects technical requirement, commercial objective, expected timeline and decision-making process.
• Present Ultimate Design Technology’s engineering, prototyping and production capabilities clearly and confidently.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to develop an appropriate scope, timeline and commercial proposal.
• Present proposals, handle initial objections, negotiate within approved limits and follow up until a clear decision is received.
• Convert qualified opportunities into paid projects and support the development of repeat business.
• Maintain relationships with customers after the initial project to identify additional requirements, referrals and production opportunities.
• Support payment follow-up for accounts originated by the employee.Role & responsibilities
