Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the SME financing/hire purchase business in Penang.
• Build and manage a high-performing sales team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME clients.
• Source and originate new financing opportunities (working capital, hire purchase).
• Build and expand referral networks (accountants, agents, business owners).
• Work closely with credit team to structure and execute deals.
• Set and drive sales targets, pipeline, and team performance.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in SME banking/financing, or related fields.
• Proven track record in SME loan/financing (e.g. portfolio size, deal volume).
• Strong network within the SME ecosystem (clients, introducers, or partners).
• Experience mentoring or leading a team is a strong advantage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build business from the ground up.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
