Compensation: $95,000-$130,000 annually plus commission

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Sales Manager for a manufacturing/construction and distribution company in West Fargo, ND. In this leadership role, you'll drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, customer relationship development, and effective team leadership. What You'll Do as a Sales Manager:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve company sales goals
• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing business relationships
• Monitor sales performance, set goals, and provide ongoing training and performance management
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, customer data, and economic indicators to identify growth opportunities
• Oversee marketing initiatives and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers while assisting with high-level sales opportunities
• Manage sales budgets, evaluate ROI on programs and initiatives, and address escalated customer concerns

What You Need to Bring to the Sales Manager Role:

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• 3+ years of sales, business development, and leadership experience required
• Background in construction and knowledge required to work with contractors
• Proven ability to lead and develop successful sales teams
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively
• Willingness to travel higher volume for the first 6 months
