Sales Manager – Pickle Mania Houston
Drive Sales. Build Relationships. Grow the Business.
Pickle Mania Houston is seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to join our leadership team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a motivated sales professional with proven experience in business development, corporate account management, membership sales, and revenue generation.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who understands how to generate leads, build lasting business relationships, close sales, and identify new revenue opportunities. This individual will play a key role in expanding our corporate client base, increasing memberships, securing private events, and driving overall facility revenue.
Experience in pickleball, sports, fitness, hospitality, or entertainment sales is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop relationships with local businesses, corporations, hotels, organizations, and community groups.
- Generate and close sales for corporate events, team-building activities, private tournaments, and group reservations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and direct outreach.
- Develop strategies to secure repeat corporate bookings and long-term client relationships.
- Prepare proposals, provide quotes, negotiate opportunities within company guidelines, and close sales.
Membership Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive new membership sales and identify opportunities to increase recurring membership revenue.
- Develop strategies to convert walk-in guests, event participants, and prospective customers into paying members.
- Promote membership packages, court reservations, leagues, clinics, and other facility programs.
- Implement membership retention strategies and identify opportunities for upgrades and renewals.
- Establish and execute sales initiatives designed to increase facility utilization and overall revenue.
Sales & Client Relationships
- Generate new business
- Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through booking confirmation.
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients to maximize booking conversions.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Coordinate with facility management and the events team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to event execution.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional courts, equipment rentals, instructors, VIP Lounge access, and other available services.
Sales Performance & Accountability
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase corporate bookings, memberships, and private events.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client communications, proposals, bookings, and sales performance.
- Track sales activity, conversion rates, and revenue results.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

- Demonstrated ability to prospect, generate qualified leads, negotiate, and close sales.
- Strong relationship-building and client retention skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of sales performance.
- Highly motivated, organized, professional, and results-oriented.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to represent Pickle Mania professionally.
- Comfortable conducting outbound sales calls, attending networking events, and meeting prospective corporate clients.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales management tools.

What Success Looks Like
We're looking for someone who takes initiative and consistently delivers measurable results.
Success in this position means developing a strong corporate client portfolio, increasing membership sales, generating consistent event bookings, building repeat business, and creating new revenue opportunities for Pickle Mania.
This is an active sales position, not simply a role that responds to incoming inquiries. The successful candidate will proactively pursue new business, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and turn opportunities into confirmed bookings and long-term customer relationships.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume along with a brief summary of your relevant sales experience, including your background in corporate sales, business development, membership sales, or event sales.
